Silver shark

One of the most popular 👌 ornamental fishes is silver shark. This energy full species are very good for your community tank. In earlier stages when  it is small size, you can keep them with any kind of fishes ( except chchlid species) but I suggest to   not  keep them with small species fishes because they are large enough ( vary recently i saw a silver shark,  which  is more than 15 inches or 42 centimeters an above )  . They are not carnivores but they are able to eat small size fishes. It's better to keep them with proper size fishes.  Silver shark is peaceful but suddenly feel fear from any mysterious object or shadow. 

Origins :  this species generally found in South East Asia, Thailand, Sumatra, borneo and some other areas. 

Size :  generally  it's found about 10 to 12 inches or25 to30 cm in size , but sometime this species found  above 15 inches. 

Water :  they prefer  soft ( tds 100 mg / lt )and little acidic (ph 6 to 6.5 )water , but this species can stay easily in any water condition ( compatible). 

Food  :  they can eat live food or dry food ( flake food,  pallet food etc) . You can feed them various type of food . It will better to feed them twice or three wise a day. 

Temperament  :  relatively peaceful.  They are not carnivores or aggressive.
